Langley

Introduction

The statements presented on this website come from former employees of Langley Hotels. We have chosen to anonymize their identities in order to protect them and their right to privacy.

Each story reflects experiences shared by people who worked within Langley Hotels. These accounts are not limited to one or two individuals, but represent concerns raised by many who describe similar patterns and treatment. As a collective of former employees, we have reviewed these stories together and examined their content carefully. According to those who contributed, these accounts are also supported by testimonies from other former employees, which gives them additional weight.

Those who have shared their experiences have done so in order to give a voice to people who felt ignored and to shed light on what they believe are systemic problems within the company. The issues described range from unsafe working conditions to sexual harassment and economic exploitation, and many contributors believe these examples are only part of a much broader problem.

Some of the individuals who shared their stories say they have already taken legal steps or tried to bring these matters to the attention of relevant authorities, but were met with dismissal or were not taken seriously by company leadership. In their view, these were not isolated incidents, but part of a deeper and more enduring culture of disregard for employees' rights, safety, and wellbeing.

That is why we believe it is essential for these stories to be heard. By sharing these experiences, we hope to create a safe space for others to speak out as well, and in doing so, build strength for change. We do not want anyone else to go through what so many of us experienced, and we hope these stories will help others understand the reality that many people faced behind the scenes at Langley Hotels.

We are not the only ones speaking. According to those involved, these accounts have also been echoed by outside sources, and in several cases workplace reviews and external investigations were said to point to patterns that go beyond isolated events. In the view of former employees, these problems reflect a deeper culture of negligence and exploitation.

We have brought our voices together to put an end to this, and we intend to continue fighting for justice, for ourselves and for future generations entering the workforce.

We encourage anyone who has experienced something similar, or who sees their own story reflected here, to get in touch with us. The more voices we gather, the stronger our message becomes.

No one should have to feel alone in this struggle, and together, we can create change.
